Meeting

Journeys end in lovers meetings

Separated by seven seas, still close enough to hear the whispering sound of thoughts.
He was an estate agent in Washington DC and she, a columnist of a newspaper in Mumbai.

They were introduced on a website and didn’t realize when a small chat converted into a deep longing for each other. Soon they used to connect on the internet but the linking went deep via the soul-web. He will wake up at 5 in the morning to chat with her after she returns from her office, and she will not sleep until he has not left home “We should meet someday”. Their morning never started without thinking about the other and nights never went without dreaming.

On weekends it will be an all-day event. He will start telling stories to her but will end up saying poetry on this girl. The silence which sometimes fell in between acted like a zeros in math, unlikely but made the equation stronger. If you can bear silence then you can beat any noise.

He understood how she sometimes goes mad about things yet unknown to her and she realized how someone unknown from a far off land has taken over her life. Since they were introduced, talking to him was her favorite work and his name was her preferred noun.

It was very clear that they deserve to be together the only thing left was they were yet to meet. They decided to live together… soon
How it is going to work was the only question left.

One of them has to cross the seas and both will make ways
One of them has to leave all behind and both will gain always
One of them has to see a new life and both will look together
One of them has to take the first step and both will walk forever…

The choice of who will be the one was the something they were yet to figure out.

How can you decide to spend your life without even meeting the one? Leaving a well settled career, family and friends was may be too much to ask for both of them.
Can you come here and we will live happily…

Good times can be spent happily but when bad time arrives, it makes the undesired emotions resurface. Soon their dream to be with each other was taken over by their professional aspirations.

Their “for you” converted to “for me” and “are you all right” converted into “you don’t think about me” and the songs of love became a game to take over the other.
Breaking up is difficult but logging out was easy.

They talked, knew each other, fell in love laughed cried and departed… only their Meeting was left

You All right?
