Recently read about a person called Sisyphus...
He is a man who's daily job is to roll up a stone to the top of a hill. He do not know why he has to do it but does it every day of his life.
When the stone reaches the top it rolls down and Sisyphus has to begin all over again.
It is futile
meaningless labour
There is a Susyphus in everone of us...
We go to a job daily which we donot like but do it every single day of our life. It is God's way of punishing pupil who do not and will not listen to their heart. People do not love what they do but they do nonetheless for the money which it brings.
Can we go back and make a brand new start...
Few qustions will come to our minds,
what about the loan I have taken?
what about the credit card bills?
how will I maintain my cozy life style?
Is it worth it to dig back your burried goals and bring tham back to life?
If you are the one with an answer "No" then you can easily crawl back to your comfort zone...
but if you are a thinker give it a thought.. if you are a dreamer, then dream now
and if you are a doer, then go for it

Vastness of creation fell short and emptiness of life invited your thoughts The night lamp flickered to life and blankness of sheet caught...
This thought come to my mind every single day but then this comes because right now we are financially so-so enough to use of mind to think this...otherwise would have been thinking about earning daily bread and butter to get a single meal of the day, then this kind of thinking wouldn't have even got birth in our mind... Think abt it...

Most of us are living in the same fashion as you said...but then, I think, and would like to ask you too...do you think soldiers on border really like to be there ?? A Sweeper really likes to clean shit ??
In present time, people everywhere are fucked by their profession, everyone could be seen saying this service life is damn, this biz life is 24X7 etc.etc......Its a mix and match world....some do it for money, some do it for comfort, some do it for family, some for their heart.....but most importantly..it must be not for ourselves,it must be for nation, for world, for humanity !
If the profession you are in does not excites you and never posses a challenge, if you are doing it daily without any association and interest then whatever the job is, you should not be doing it.
ReplyDeleteIf a soldier do not feel honor in his duty he shouldn't be a soldier and if a sweeper does feels he can do better, then he should rise too.
All have reasons and all face difficulties but remember that difficulty is not accepted as an excuse by history.
